Looking for a serene escape from the bustling city life? Join us on an unforgettable journey to Chakrata, a charming hill town nestled near Dehradun, Uttarakhand. Just 87 km away from the state capital, Chakrata is perched at an elevation of 6,948 feet (2,118 meters) and offers breathtaking views, tranquil landscapes, and a refreshing break from the ordinary.

The Route: Delhi – Dehradun – Chakrata

Our adventure begins in Delhi, where we’ll embark on an overnight journey to Dehradun. As the sun rises, our group will head towards Chakrata, ready to explore some of the most picturesque and untouched spots in the region.

Day 1: Trekking to Moila Top & Chilmiri’s Sunset Point

After a scenic drive from Dehradun, we’ll reach our cozy resort in Chakrata around 8 AM. The day kicks off with a trek to Moila Top, an enchanting meadow adorned with an ancient temple and the mystical Budher Cave. Surrounded by dense Deodar forests, this trek offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the majestic Himalayas. The serene beauty of the Bugyal and the dark forest will leave you in awe.

Following the Chakrata old market we’ll go to Chilmiri’s Top, the highest point in Chakrata. As the sun sets, you’ll witness a spectacular display of colors painting the sky, with views stretching to Rohini, Swarg, and other famous mountain peaks. This moment of natural beauty is truly priceless.

In the evening, we’ll return to the resort for a cozy dinner around a bonfire, accompanied by music and the company of newfound friends.

Day 2: Exploring the Majestic Tiger Falls

Day 2 starts with a cup of morning tea, enjoying a stunning view of the Himalayas right from your bed. After a hearty breakfast, we’ll head to Tiger Falls, one of Chakrata’s hidden treasures. At an elevation of 312 feet, Tiger Falls is considered one of the highest waterfalls in India. The sight and sound of the cascading water amidst the lush green surroundings make it a perfect spot for relaxation and reflection.

After soaking in the beauty of Tiger Falls, we’ll make our way back to Dehradun around 5 PM and begin our journey back to Delhi, arriving early the next morning. You’ll return home with unforgettable memories, new friendships, and a rejuvenated spirit.
